Entertainment Coordinator (Part-time)

About the job

Overview:

An Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing entertaining events and activities for various audiences. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for bringing people together through engaging experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement entertainment concepts: Brainstorm, research, and design unique entertainment experiences tailored to specific audiences and events.
Source and book entertainment talent: Research, negotiate contracts, and manage logistics for performers, musicians, bands, comedians, and other entertainment acts.
Manage event logistics: Secure venues, equipment, technical support, catering, and other necessary resources.
Create and manage budgets: Develop and stay within budget allocations for entertainment costs, venue rentals, vendor fees, and other expenses.
Promote and market events: Develop marketing strategies, create promotional materials, and manage social media campaigns to generate interest and attendance.
Oversee event execution: Ensure smooth event operation, manage staff and volunteers, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Collect and analyze feedback: Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate the success of events and inform future planning.
Stay informed about industry trends: Research and stay up-to-date on emerging trends in entertainment, technology, and audience preferences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in event management, entertainment business, or a related field (preferred)
2 years of experience in event planning or entertainment coordination
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Creative and innovative thinking
Budget management skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
Passion for the entertainment industry
Bilingual, English and Arabic
