Electrical Project Manager

About the job

On behalf of our client, who is into dairy product manufacturing, we are seeking a Project Manager - Electrical who can efficiently manage and execute the Project lifecycle from ideation to fruition while keeping within the boundaries of scope, time, and cost. Also should be a subject matter expert on Electrical systems design and support all projects within the site in this capacity.

Responsibilities:

Conducting the technical feasibility for the Project and facilitating the financial feasibility.
Defining project tasks and resource requirements.
Developing, maintaining, and abiding by the project plans and timelines.
Reviewing detailed electrical (power & control) drawings, engineering drawings, and layouts per the specific process requirements.
Creating and reviewing the contractual documents; tender documents, contractual submittals, and other documents. Reviewing project specifications, quotations, tender documents, and project-related submittals.
Performing fieldwork necessary to gather data and site requirements needed to define the project deliverables and technical requirements & specifications. Perform and verify engineering calculations as required.


Defining all project stakeholders and managing them effectively.
Preparing and managing project budget.
Managing project procurement and project resource allocation
Monitoring and reporting project progress of a project on a timely basis.
Defining the project risk register and managing the same throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing changes within the project using effective change management.
Supporting external projects within the domain of the specialization and also the competency development of my team.
Complying with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations and working practices of the organization and the State of Kuwait when carrying out duties.
Executing Management directives as required.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, PMP Certification, Member of KSE is a plus.
Should have 15 years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering Project Management.
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices: This includes understanding the design, construction, and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
Experience with electrical project management: This includes experience with planning, organizing, and executing electrical projects on time and within budget.


Expertise in electrical engineering software: This includes experience with software that is used to design and analyze dairy processing equipment and facilities, such as AutoCAD or PCschematic.
Knowledge of electrical codes and standards: This includes understanding and complying with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
Proficient & hands-on knowledge in using and working with AutoCAD.
Proficient in working with MS Office and MS Project programs.
