Crane Operator

About the job

We are looking for a talented and skilled Crane Operator to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. The Crane Operator will perform day to day activities related to operation of overhead cranes of scrapyard, billet yard and tundish bay including operation abnormalities notification and maintaining safe working environment and reporting unsafe conditions. Perform related activities for overhead crane performance improvement as directed by immediate supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

Carries out pre operation check of the crane including test movements prior to his proper shift duty and any abnormalities found shall be reported to his immediate superior.
Coordinate and support maintenance crew during shutdown maintenance.
Overhead crane operation activities of scrapyard, billet yard and tundish bay to optimize productivity and eliminate risks or accidents.
Carry out job specific works such as lifting, lowering, transferring, loading/unloading, dumping, charging and installation
